Slow response browsing a large project

When browsing the fempar project (now public) from Atom, I found a very slow response when a new file is open, particularly using textDocument/definition. I really don't know whether this an issue of fortran-language-server or ATOM itself. Nor whether it can be related to issue 39 or not.
