Optional rendering style ,like \textcite{} and \parencite{} in latex

I'm always frustrated when I have to mannually update the citation style in the text. In latex, there are two styles in citing an author: \textcite{} and parencite{}(I might misprint the command cause I haven't use latex for a while), which render as AUTHOR (2001) and (AUTHOR, 2001).
