Searching for posts with !groups ignores the !

If I type !erc, I get posts that contain erc (no "!"). What I'm actually looking for is only posts with !erc exactly in them.

i've also thought about that. but that's a sphinx configuration i think. probably in the sphinx gnu social plugin. i'm marking this as invalid, but it's something i want to look into. thanks.
