[Feature request] Language filter
It would be really cool if there was a setting or a filter somewhere that lets me see (in Public Timeline and The Whole Known Network) only tweets by people who've set their language as [language(s)].
So if I speak English and French I can tell Qvitter, and then in the Public Timeline and The Whole Known Network Qvitter will only show me notices by people who primarily post in English and French.
The majority of posts are in a language I don't speak, so it's hard to find people to follow.
PS: Continued thanks! :)
great suggestion! really smart. i'll think about how to do that.
making a connection to this comment by @maliktunga https://github.com/hannesmannerheim/qvitter/issues/219#issuecomment-118933030 here because implementing server-stored language selection could enable us to use it for language filtering.
This would indeed bring a solution to a complex issue! Also, just as a comment:
"i really like localstorage for privacy reasons just because it means we can deal with stuff locally that the server and the middlemen don't have to know about."
Is storing a language preference really a privacy breach? I couldn't care less if hackers would find that very private information about me… ;o)
