Aryzon / HoloKit / Mira etc. Headset FOVs

Hello, thanks for sharing this interesting work! Do you have any idea about compatibility with https://holokit.io/ or https://www.aryzon.com/ cardboards? Will they need any customization of the parameters (eyeFOV, cameraImageScale) or should it just work?

Hi @Buthrakaur , Thank you. With the HoloKit / Aryzon / Mira Prism headsets:

It is very likely you'll have to customize the eyeFOV and cameraImageScale parametres. Ideally you'd calculate mathematically, but I've found it sufficient to do rough guesses for prototyping purposes. Rough guesses meaning (try a value, look through the headset, try another value etc. - like guessing a number between 0-100 xP). Unfortunately I don't have a more algorithmic way of calculating it at the moment.

Interested to see what you make!

If anyone plays with this code with any headsets (HoloKit, Aryzon, Mira Prism, etc.) - would love to hear what eyeFOV and cameraImageScale worked for you!
