Upload broken?

I have a small tool to upload photos with the flickraw library and until recently it worked flawlessly (for many years). Now it consistently throws random errors during the upload of photos like "invalid number of elements (9 for 1..2)", "broken pipe", "connection reset by peer"

I currently can't explain the reason for this but I wanted to bring it to your attention and maybe debug it together. Is the upload only broken for me?
