2.7.7 Galleries showing END page early

Today I noticed that many galleries are showing the END page before I reach the last image in the gallery and I can't view any images past that point, even if I go to the image directly. Galleries with ~20 images or less I can make it to the end normally but larger galleries will show the END page early. Furthermore, the number of images I can view before the END page appears seems to be proportional to the total number of images in the gallery (compare screenshots below). All images load normally with eHunter turned off.

that's in your eh/exh gallery settings page, usually on the top
