Thanks for your report! We're still on barman 1.3.x in production and I've never tested with barman 1.6, so it's quite likely that [rbarman](https://github.com/sauspiel/rbarman)/check-barman is incompatible. I'll try to investigate...

inotifywatch also just shows 'attrib' after editing a file ``` vagrant@db24-phoenix /vagrant ❯❯❯ inotifywatch /vagrant -v -r Establishing watches... Setting up watch(es) on /vagrant OK, /vagrant is now being watched....
Adding an implementation like ```clojure (defmethod cell-seq :default [something] something) ``` with `something` being `nil`, made everything work,. But not sure if that's a good solution in general.
Retrying with an exponential backoff shouldn't lead to a rate limit or even a block
