Sorry to chase this (it's my own fault for patching the wrong class in #19), but could you consider another push of this to rubygems (if it needs a rebase or something just let me know and i'l do that)?

if not, I'll hack around it in the logstash plugin. Thanks either way, and sorry to mess you about.
