MultiPoints are not displayed correctly in the Map View

When transforming data and aggregating several geometries to MultiPoint geometries, they are not displayed correclty in the Map View. The current assumption by Simon and me is, that there is only one single point displayed per MultiPoint geometry which is located in the center of all points contained in the MultiPoint geometry.
