I think the norm of formula 16.16 (page 190), 16.22 (page 191) and line16 in algorithm 38 (page 192) should be squared. That is for example for formula 16.22: 
Title of math review reads, "Expectated Values" instead of "Expected Values".
I think it's a typo it should be classified negative but is classified positive due to noise.
