[pull-kops-e2e-k8s-aws-calico](https://prow.k8s.io/view/gs/kubernetes-ci-logs/pr-logs/pull/kops/17452/pull-kops-e2e-k8s-aws-calico/1936675078758469632) succeeded using the new `etcd-manager-slim` image [built with ko](https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/etcd-manager/pull/25). Minor adjustments are needed, as seen in this POC. The only missing piece is `etcd-manager-ctl`.
