Request: work with easy online polling
I'd love to be able to embed a poll from easypolls.net or polljunkie.com. I don't want to run a server myself, simply embed an exist service and have it work. (Neither of these site's embed javascript work in my reveal.js.)
I just tested both of these options again and neither works.
I just came across issue #661 and I'm wondering if there's a way to activate a polleverywhere slide on the active slide?
@bradgessler, is it possible to activate a given poll on a revealjs slide?
For posterity, some convo was taken to Twitter: https://twitter.com/jmreagle/status/1527034393562386438?s=21&t=_7ZEvA1g-dQ9n2TVOTGaXQ
tl;dr an official integration with Reval.js doesn't exist. It's technically possible to integrate with Poll Everywhere, but it would be with undocumented APIs that could change at anytime without integration testing. From my experience at PE (I'm no longer there and can't speak for them in a CTO capacity) a lot of testing goes into integrations because they absolutely have to work reliably and securely. If they didn't, a lot of presenters would look stupid in front of large audiences, which is a quick way to lose customers in that line of business.
If there's a lot of demand for this integration aggregated through university or corporate IT departments, there's a better change an official tested integration could happen.
BTW: I've found that strawpoll.com does embed nicely within reveajs slides, see my example.
