I've now forked org-drill and plan to take up maintainership there, following on from the the issue I raised here:

Hi Phil, thanks for reaching out. I was planning to add functionality similar to shortcutfoo.com to org-drill.

Haven’t done anything yet, other than fixing what is broken :)

I am planning on doing some fairly significant clean ups (namespace clean, remove most of the dynamic scoping dependency, add some tests). I am likely to hit most of the code base, so we will need to co-ordinate a bit or we will end up in merge hell.
