windows can not run .bin please choose a program?
i have just started to use my device and the hello world script worked perfectly as expected, but as soon as i add a new one which i have encoded from duckytoolkit i get the above message and nothing works. i have tried several scripts and do this to my own device and it starts off well then halts asking to choose a program to run .bin!!!
no i am new to this and understand maybe im missing something but i find a code such as wifi password, encode it, add it to my sd card after clearing out any old ones, it runs and then fails or does random things such as open web pages or emails. i am literally losing it with the scripting and Hak5 do not return emails for some reason so now i have the device and no way of getting it to work
any help will be gratefully recieved and remember im new not a coder or hacker just a tester and learner
thanks
are putting the inject.bin file into the ducky micro sd card.
hi siegfried5 yes copy it directly onto the sd card
so then are you putting sd card back into the duck?
yes i then add the card to the device plug into the machine and off it goes - randomness insues and then the windows cannot ................................
what is the color of the led on the duck; Also if you press the little button the duck do you get the same problem
the colour starts red then red and green then the inject starts to run and then i get the propmt. if i close it all down and press the button it does different things every time but no prompt for a program to run/open the .bin
do you think i need to flash it again?

Sounds like your file could have gotten corrupted. I would re encode it then try again.
