Measurement tool - value on every segment and sum of segments

Right now while using measurement tool with line feature you can make a line with some parts but you can not access the length values from that parts. It is thought quite irritating while you for example want to measure some object details during one measurement.

We can not measure length and width with same measurement

I know we can have separate measurements but it is much slower method, and not so precise without snapping.
