Server Address cannot be resolved

I am using a domain with a special character for my seafile e.g. ö.com. I can login to the seafile desktop client but sync is not workin. I also tried to use the alternate domain without the special character (xn--nda.com in this case) without luck. Seafile still shows ö.com as my logged in server and sync fails with the error "server address could not be resolved".

I tried using another domain without a special character and it works well. The same error happens with seadrive. Everything except sync works fine. I can even see all my files within the client.
