Install seafile client error

OS: Win10 21H2 LTSC New installiertes System. No security software running.

Some users also reports this problem. But we don't know what's the cause yet.

Can you run below command from the command line to install the client?

msiexec /i SeafileClient.msi /l*v MyLogFile.txt

Then send over or post the log file here?

Hi, brand new computer with win10 and same problem with seafile client, all releases 7 and 8 have failed :/ see my log file attached. Thanks MyLogFileSeafile.txt 0myF0lPpfJs0ybII

Hi, I've good news. I succeed to install the seafile desktop client on the Win10 PC. The error occured when installing this driver on an other user that is not the first user on Win10 (real administrator). Even if the other user has the administrator rights. So, you can install the driver on the first user, and the others users can use the seafile desktop client. Hope it help.
