As a Manjaro (Arch Linux derivative) user, I would be very pleased to install your software via the Arch User repository (aka AUR).

Also I volunteer to help you achieve this task !

@MattMattV Let me know if you get this working. I'm on Kubuntu and would like to use Hain cross platform.

I got it running on my Manjaro machine, it seems that it does not detect .desktop files properly but the rest was nice (:
