Support windows store apps
Hello,
It would be goof that Hain supports windows store apps. For exemple, it does not launch twitter on my config.
Thanks.
I researched how hain supports windows store apps before. but I haven't found a way to make it. anyone have an idea?
The Problem is that WindowsApps are owned by a User which is called "TrustedInstaller" and very often the .exe Files have quite funny names.
The next Problem is that you cant execute this .exe files just in the Folder when SmartScreen is enabled - even when you change the permissions of the folder with your local administrator and start for example the twitter app (what i tried) SmartScreen wont let you go further - windows seems to use another method to execute this apps.
So the workaround for now is similar to this for launchy. Here are the steps to save you a click:
- Open file explorer
- Copy this: %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{4234d49b-0245-4df3-b780-3893943456e1}
- Paste it in the explorer address bar
- It should(did for me) show all your apps from windows store
- Scroll down to Twitter(or whatever you want), right click and choose "Create Shortcut"
- It will say it can't make a shortcut here, and put it on your desktop instead.
- At this point it will work(as long as you have Hain searching Desktop), but I hate things on my desktop so...
- Create a folder somewhere(I did C:\shortcuts) and move the shortcuts there. Then have hain search that directory. It crashed when I did it recursively(I think it follows the shortcut like a folder?), but once I added it as non recursive it's worked.
@joncostello Works like a charm. Thanks for the hint.

I would also love to see this as even the Windows Settings apps is now counted as an UWP. :( I sadly don't know a solution directly, but I know that another launcher (getwox.com), managed to add it. Not sure how, but I would love to see this in Hain.
