no minimize to tray option, even with show tray icon checked (version 2.3.4)

i saw that this feature was requested and added per this pull/thread, but for me, i don't have the option to start minimized! i'm on windows 11 and i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but i'm not sure why it never appears as an option for me. here are two screenshots showing the options i have: image image
