Error message in the log - An error occurred while transferring data to the device on the I2C bus. (os error -1071241854)

Hi,

the following error message appears in the switch display log of my ASUS monitor:

15:47:27 [ERROR] Failed to get current input for display 'ASUS': An error occurred while transferring the data to the device on the I2C bus. (os error -1071241854)

However, the I2C is fine in itself. I tested it with other software. Is the problem with my monitor or display-switch?

Yep, I have the same issue, but only when switching from DisplayPort1 to Hdmi1. Switching from Hdmi1 to DisplayPort1 works.

Same here on a Dell S2417DG
