Create a version tag for composer

Think it's ok to call the current version stable an tag it as a 1.0.0 or something so we can have a stable composer?

hi, attempting follow up on this. Makes it hard to have projects that references projects that require-dev this one because of the lack of a stable version. all i'm looking for is a git tag 1.0.0
