would also be extra amazing if i could use a keyboard shortcut to 'love' tracks. i use last.fm as a respository for the songs i really like.

if you like there is also libre.fm which is more open source / community friendly. same idea.

I tried porting the scrobbler from GNOME Music. It compiles but segfaults immediately after start. Probably will not finish this, since the radio I like does not provide metadata.
