Have you thought maybe about adding the ability to record the stream?

Record button would be awesome! Can I ask for for related functionality on this issue or should I file separate issues? I'd like also

1. a pause/resume button that when pressed would accumulate stream in a buffer then when resume would resume stream where left
2. a scroll back in time like TuneIn Radio mobile apps.

All of the above including recording would depend on a core feature that would internally duplicate the stream into a longer buffer (in memory for the past N minutes depending on available free ram or user-configured ram reservation and then on disk for more), then depending on the use case, the buffer would be the data source used for case 1, 2 and saving to file.

Shortwave (successor of Gradio) includes a stream recorder. It automatically detects songs and saves them :smiley:.
