It feels a bit weird to me to for us to "officially" share these photos without getting permission of the people pictured.

Yeah, agreed that `na_if` is confusing. It was meant to be a direct translation of `nullif()` from SQL, but hardly anyone knows what that is so it doesn't help.
@eutwt I think `case_when()` would be consistent with the standard tidyverse recycling rules, which would not yield an error here.
