A good thing to do is, to provide a backend (like Cairo), and make wrappers for it that work seamlessly like C# graphics library (System.Drawing).

This project heavily relies on the Paint event. I think you should force the form to redraw by invalidating.

Microsoft didn't open the source of .NET Framework. It was .NET Core, which is an improved version of .NET Framework that is ideal for Server-Side because it doesn't contain WPF...

@desarrollo03TR It was posted one year ago, at that time I knew very little of it. But it is intended for server applications, as it has no GUI component out-of-the-box.

User controls are part of Windows Forms, too. Create your User control, then drag MaterialSkin components into it.

This project is using new language features. You can use new compiler, or upgrade to VS2017, or even use Xamarin Studio to compile it.
