Why should this be removed?

The original maintainer has abandoned the project/repo as they are no longer a member. I plan on replacing this default repo with my own version once this is removed.

See this issue where it is discussed that the original developer is no longer supporting this. Additionally, this issue notes that the integration as-is is currently broken. I have made changes to fix this in my version.
