Why should this be removed?

Author fully abandoned the repo over 2 years ago due to low interest and lack of time (no code updates in 5+ years). The custom card no longer functions at all in HA and should be removed from the repo. Author mentioned in open issues that they don't have time to maintain it. They should have submitted this removal themselves a long time ago.
