can i create a PS3 guide?
hello! i have been in the PS3 scene for almost 3 years now, and i always wondered why hacks.guide didnt have a PS3 page. i have not written up a guide as it would waste time if you guys rejected it :P
anyway. if you are willing to add a PS3 guide, i would be more than happy to write it up with as much information as possible, and allow people who have never even USED a ps3 before to be able to go from OFW to CFW with ease.

I have a PS3 and never even thought about doing anything to it. Does it require hardware modifications, or can it be done with software only?
Also, this has already been suggested in #10 I think. Some others showed interest in contributing.
it is done in software. its always been software exploits, but required a hardware flasher for some time. back in the day there were other methods, such as using a USB auth exploit to inject CELL shellcode into the LV2 kernel, or using FSM. but CFW has always been a software modification.
