1. Announcements
   • Automation scripts for onboarding. It involves Google App Scripts (JavaScript).
   • Please reach out to Alex if you would like to learn more.
   • Onboarded new members, Saumil and Megan!
   • Announced the Milestone Category!
2. Reviewed Dev Meeting Column
   • #2005
     • What are the next steps to this? How do we want to standardize it?
     • Result: Yes to cleaning the code and standardizing it.
   • #1928
     • Waiting for requested review.
     • Result: Matthew Cacho and Adam will review it.
   • #1993
     • Product suggested that the issue be brought to development; Designers would like feedback from development.
     • Note: There are new components that we don’t have that we need to make an issue.
     • Result: Sent a comment to Sihem and Bonnie that the dev team said it looks good and would like to move it to the developer meeting.
3. Architecture - The codes are visible on our website. What are our next steps? (Links from discussion purposely not disclosed.) - Note: Akib once said there's a setting where we could turn it off (Configuration side) - Result: Make a new issue: Size: Large, Assigned to Matthew Cacho
4. Progress Reports
   • #1979 - Update: Sihem added a comment to the issue.
   • Feedback on Github actions: - It works. Very nice that the bot notifies us when we need to update the issue. Also nice that the bot acknowledges that an issue has been updated within the breakpoints. - Wisdom of the Day: Automation works for people. People don’t work for automation.
   • Reviewed how to do a Progress Report! - On the comment box, click on the arrow on the top right. There should be a Progress Report Template. - Result: **Needs to be implemented. **
5. CSS Standardization
   • Will need to refactor because some HTML codes look different.
   • Should we standardize to have the pages open a new tab?
6. Donate Link

• I (@abuna1985) will be the technical lead working with @macho-catt who is managing the back-end issues as back-end tech lead. We also have a website-merge team (@blakes24, @averdin2 @arghmatey ) that help merge approved pull request that is ready for production.

• I wrote down my visions and action items for the near future to get there in my vision wiki article. If you have any questions, suggestions, or would like to help with any portion of the action items, feel free to DM me.

Announcements for 10/10/2021

@abuna1985 will update the Contributing.md file to provide a clear example of completing a pull request. He will also be creating a custom message for the Hacktoberfest participants about how to get their pull requests merged.

@abuna1985 Has created a poll for the design system name. The design team chose 3 names and now we will be listing our preference from 1-6 between Tiramisu, Mochi, Saber, Biblio, Fabric, and Nucleus. Voting will end at 10 AM PST next Sunday (October 17). The top 3 will move onto the final round of voting. If you could please vote this week it would be greatly be appreciated.
