Dev: Security Users to see Managed Submissions Tab

Overview

We need users that have both Security and Admin permissions to see tabs that are available to both users since they might be doing dual roles.

Details

User permissions are layered. So depending on user they see different tabs

• admin user: permissions they will/wont see the following:
  • will see: manage submissions
  • won't see: submissions
  • won't see: security
  • won't see: feedback
• security user:
  • will see security
  • won't see: manage submissions
  • won't see: submissions
  • won't see: feedback
• if the user has both admin and security permissions, they will/won't see the following:
  • will see: manage submissions
  • will see: security
  • won't see: submissions
  • won't see: feedback

Action Items

• [ ] Go to https://tdm.ladot.lacity.org/ and log in as a Security User
  • [ ] Find the admin user email that is in the 1 password vault and temporarily upgrade it to security user (as well as keeping the admin user status).
  • [ ] Then log in with the admin user to see if the permissions match what should show under the details section above.
  • [ ] Please document your findings in this issue.
    • [ ] If having both security and admin permissions does not result in the permissions outlined under details, a dev issue will be needed to fix that.
