Move web site to AWS hosting environment

desired outcome

  • when I navigate to ca.foodoasis.net I can load the CA Foodoasis application
  • "" "" for www.ca.foodoasis.net
  • http will always be redirected to http

proposal

End goal is to have food oasis production app running fully in AWS, but we can meet the desired outcome by first resolving ca.foodoasis.net to the current running app on heroku

phase 1 - point DNS to cafoodoasis.herokupapp.com

  • [] create an apex zone foodoasis.net in Food Oasis account
  • add a record for ca.foodoasis.net that resolves to the herokuapp
