UCLA Volunteer Publicity Contest

A FOLA publicity/promotion contest amongst the UCLA Volunteers for Spring Quarter 2023.

We will ask the students to promote FOLA using a unique QR code -- on their social media accounts, at their churches or non-profits or coffee shops or student commons, etc. We will track the increased number of users on Google Analytics, and the student with the most number of new users to FOLA will "win" a credit of one week of volunteer hours for their course work.

Action Items

• [ ] Have research team create unique codes for each student
• [ ] Discuss with Erin about the timing of the contest
• [ ] Send email to students outlining the contest

• [ ] End contest w/ short survey
• [ ] Evaluate what we learned from the contest with Publicity/Marketing Pod
• [ ] Discuss perhaps replicating this contest in following semesters
