Explore further the implications of using AI-assisted tooling and/or Grammarly API in letter-writing process

@sofialaguna shared they will reach out with the UXR team regarding user personas and how they might relate to use of (or ability to use) AI in letter writing

Bonnie/PM COP learnings

  • other versions of ChatGPT exist that are better than existing free version. Possible we could apply / request it for non-profit use if we reach out to them?
  • we are not obligated to disclose that we use AI in letter writing process as the process is structured similarly to existing LG
  • Bonnie suggests everyone should learn how to use it as another tool
  • past feedback was that courts rejected formulaic expungement letters; chatGPT could help to make more "personalized" letters. regardless of output for any ChatGPT use, humans would still need to personalize the output as a result and our LG is meant to just create a first draft for users to then adapt
