I am working on the new Hack for LA landing page and have been tasked with writing a description of each COP. I would like to get feedback on my brief description to ensure accuracy and I also would like to include an example project or two for each one. Thank you in advance for your help! Patty

Brief description: The Data Science Community of Practice (COP) is a space for data science professionals to discuss the current state of the field, share effective practices, give and receive mentorship, and to workshop projects. Recent projects include xyz.

Can someone please give me an example or two of your recent projects? I welcome feedback on the above description.
