What is the output of lsix when you run it in terminator?

Error: Your terminal does not appear to support sixel graphics.

Please use a sixel capable terminal, such as xterm -ti vt340, or ask your terminal manufacturer to add sixel support.

If your terminal actually does support sixel, please file a bug report at http://github.com/hackerb9/lsix/issues

But the terminator should support libsixel

I talked to the folks who write the only terminator program I know about (https://bugs.launchpad.net/terminator/+bug/1850252) and they say they are based on VTE and don't support sixels. However, there may be another terminator project. Can you tell me more about which terminator you are using?

Can you please expand on this? Which version of terminator are you using? Is it possible you're using the wrong terminator?

Hi, in my case "terminator 1.92"

I was asking @qqpp4130 what was meant by "terminator should support libsixel". Did he mean it "should work" because he's using a different "Terminator" project (not the one that I linked to that's based on VTE)? Or, it "should work" because that would be the right thing for Terminator to do?

If the former, then please provide a link to the other Terminator.

If the latter, then please send a bug report to the Terminator developers to politely ask them to support sixel graphics. https://github.com/gnome-terminator/terminator/issues/new
