Hi, lsix developer here. I don't have a Mac, but this seems like a good idea. I do not know Homebrew and would appreciate any contribution.
I know nothing about WSL. Can you login using `ssh` from a terminal that does support SIXEL? If so, I think `lsix` should work.
I notice in another bug report somebody mentions `wsltty`. Perhaps that's the solution for WSL.
