[Roles] Freeze cards when demoted to reader
At the moment, if you're a manager/member and issue yourself a card, then later get demoted, that card is still active and usable.
Instead of cancelling cards, what are your thoughts on freezing cards? Managers may want to promote readers or members at a later point in time.

We're going back to canceling cards because we don't want the possibility of them being usable and not being able to upload receipts.

Disregard. Going back to freezing cards on demotion because we realized we need to change the policy to support readers uploading their own receipts regardless.

Yes. That means if they get promoted again, they can spend money. We can add a policy to prevent defrosting cards for a member/reader if that's currently possible.

This makes sense. The concern was them spending money while being a reader but that's a good solution on top of making sure they can still upload receipts for their own transactions.
