why does deepseek.com show up on your menu in other tabs?

  1. Is this on Firefox?
  2. Does the deepseek entry show a "(sidebar?)" suffix?

yes firefox and it does have (sidebar?) sorry is that normal?

It's normal as long as you've got the AI chatbot sidebar open.

Otherwise it's a bug, and it would be interesting to know more about your configuration, and especially:

  1. If any other sidebar is or has been opened
  2. Whether you're using vertical tabs

Thanks!

okay i'm using regular tabs with that new sidebar (history, bookmarks,...) but the deepseek.com site is isolated i thought, i have no extension or side bar for it..

i have the huggingface chat side bar but that's not deepseek... i'll see if i can remove the hugging face sidebar and report back.

edit: looks like the huggingface comes with firefox (AI chatbot)

i went to forbes.com and that also comes up in the noscript menu.. it's the first time i've been to forbes since i can remember and the tab is closed now but sidebar still comes up in the noscript menu

forbes.com sidebar dissappeared after i cleared it from the 'view recent browsing across windows and devices' screen in the tab bar. it was in recently closed tabs.. i deleted it there and then refresh and it's gone from noscript

Could you check if this problem persist on 13.0.901? It might be a duplicate of #458.
