NoScript menu empty when icon is in the left corner
I am having problems to allow or deny sites because the window that appears when you click on NoScript icon shows the first line of icons (Close, Reload, Options... etc.) for a very short time and then suddenly all the content of that options window is cleared.
After research, I have discovered that it only happens in two situations: when the options window must be rendered to the right of the icon (because the icon is too close to the left end of the menu bar) or when the options windows renders outside the firefox window to the left when the window is not left aligned and there is space to its left.
I have moved the icon to the center of the menu bar and all problems have dissappeared.
I have checked with 12.1.1 and 12.1.1.905 and the problem persists.
I am using FF 137.0.2 on Ubuntu 24.04 and problems have gotten worse. Previously, on 136, it only happened when the options window was rendered outside the FF window to the left. Now, also when the window is rendered towards the right of the noscript icon.
NoScript ko left end menu bar (render to the right):
NoScript ko left side menu bar (render to the right):
NoScript ko left side render left outside ff window:
Noscript ok:
I have tried with uBlock window and it also shows the problem although sometimes yes and sometimes not.
uBlock ok:
uBlock ko:
It looks like a race condition between content and background render execution because the speed at which the NoScript option window is rendered affects how or whether first line of icons is shown or not before all content is deleted.
