Remove deprecated lifecycle hooks
The reload hook will be deprecated in release 0.84. We should eventually remove this hook after giving users time to migrate to using the reconfigure hook.
We should also remove support for lifecycle hooks with a _ instead of a - most of this logic can be found here.
