[BUG] Instant electricity consumption not working anymore

Open alfienero opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

Hi Andi!

I updated 10 days ago both HA and the Vimar component and I've found that the sensor entity which in the past used to measure the instant electricity consumption is stuck to 2.48 KWh and is not changing value anymore.

The name of the entity is "sensor.carichi_globale_controllo_consumo_totale" I've tried also the other sensors but I'm unable to find the right one.

Could you help me? Thanks in advance, Gianluca

do you have other sensors like them that still work? is the sensor still marked as "available" in home-assistant?

Thank you for the quick reply Andy. Yes the sensor is available but not updated as before. The other are working, for instance the total one which measures the electricity consumed since the beginning is ramping up.

@alfienero I just look through the logical documentation of those devices. it seems there is an on/off switch for such devices to actively transfer data from the deviece to the project. may you check on the Vimar Control panel if the load devices are still active?

@alfienero Can you try to open two tabs in the browser with an HA instance on one side and the vimar web server with the load control page on the other and see if the value is updated? This way, for me, the value is read correctly. What version of the web server do you have?

Keep in mind: you should have different vimar users setup for the HA integration and the direct access to the vimar webserver. the vimar webserver will silently drop old connections from a user, if the user is logged in a second time.
