Calendar Sync: Problems with Timezone?

Hi,

great work! It's the best working z-push implementation for Owncloud i've found yet, thank you very much!

I have found a problem though:

When i create an event in the owncloud Calendar, it works just fine. When i create an event on my phone (Android 4.0.4) though, the events appear duplicate 2 hours earlier in time of what i actually planned. On these events, i can tell the event planner (myself) wether i want to participate or not.

• Duplicate Events don't appear in the ownCloud calendar.
• Deleting the duplicate events on the phone will remove the original event as well.
• Events created on the ownCloud calendar appear correctly and only once.
• Changing the phone's timezone did not have an effect to this problem.
• Changing the server's PHP date.timezone did not have an effect either.
• Changing the server's timezone (Debian -> timezone changed with "dpkg-reconfigure tzdata" ) did not have an effect either.

Summary: Events are always present twice; one at the correct time and another one 2 hours before i originally planned them with my phone

In this logfile, i created events on both the phone ("Test 16 phone") and on the server ("test 17 server") at about the same time. Both events are at 12:00 CEST.

I already had this problem, but I can't remember how I fixed it. did you check the owncloud timezone ? (/owncloud/settings/personal.php)

btw, sorry for the delay, I was in holydays.

Hi,

I just started testing this on Nokia E51, weird results..

Nokia E51, S60 ver 400.34.011, MFE version 3.00(50)

• Calendar entry from Owncloud: "Test OC, 08:00-11:00"
  • results after sync: Ok on oc's calendar, on phone shows "Test OC, 09:00-12:00"
• Calendar entry from phone: "Test phone, 08:00-11-00"
  • results after sync: Ok on oc'c calendar, on phone shows "Test phone, 06:00-09:00"

System: Freebsd9+nginx+php-fpm.

I've se the timezone (Europe/Helsinki) to:

• /etc/localtime
• php.ini (date.timezone)
• oczpush/config.php
• owncloud's personal settings
• phone itself

Are there any news about this Problem? Or how can i configure original Z-Push 2.0.4 to work with OwnCloud?

After some few tests, it seems that recent version of z-push fixed that, could you try again ?

I am noticing the same thing - despite having the timezone set everywhere, appointments are entered into my calendar without the appropriate time offset. Is there a known fix for this?
