Dynamic Downloads does not apply to files downloaded normally

Facebook and some other sites have a "Download" button to download images, which is sometimes required in order to get the highest possible resolution of the image. This will prompt the open/save file dialogue (unless set to automatic). I wish images and files saved in this fashion would also be affected by dynamic download rules. Using "Save in" on the download button does not work.

Is this in Firefox? I think Chrome might behave better with this, but I have not confirmed it.

Very late reply, but yes, I have only used the extension with Firefox.
