Hrm.. Well, my ideal solution would be to add an svg renderer to complement the canvas & vml renderers. Had a severe lack of time recently though to work on...

@Bobgy any thoughts on updating this and merging? i have a project that is being tripped up by this issue; i think this is a reasonable approach to solve it
