verbose option has been removed in pegasus status

Pegasus has remove the "--verbose" flag as an option to pegasus-status in the latest releases. We need to update our 'status' shell script to work with this.

@ahnitz Please see #5116 ... There's more than just this needed to run with pegasus 5.1 (reliably). I think this should probably come with a version requirement bump to 5.1.X ... If this starts causing the CI to fail, I'd be happy to pin pegasus to <5.1 temporarily until we've had chance to get the full fix in.
