Because of breakages like this I now use: animation-timing-function: step-start !important; transition-timing-function: step-start !important; This jumps directly to final position on start, but looped animations still toggles between states.

It's caused by `transition-delay`. Switching cells makes text visible. Increasing value does not help. Removing it do.
