GW2Radial installed in the wrong directory on update

Open earnil opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug When updating GW2Radial from v2.1.1 to v2.1.2 using Addon Manager v1.4.3, the new gw2addon_gw2radial.dll (and readme.md) file was installed in C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\addons instead of C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\addons\gw2radial. Manually replacing gw2addon_gw2radial.dll in Guild Wars 2\addons\gw2radial with the new one in Guild Wars 2\addons correctly updated GW2Radial.

To Reproduce I did not try to reproduce the bug, but:

  • GW2 is installed in C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2
  • GW2-Addon-Manager is installed in C:\Users\<user>\Documents\gw2\GW2-Addon-Manager
  • Addons installed are arcdps, arcdps_boontable, and gw2radial (the only one which needed to be updated)

I did what the above poster said to try and work around the issue, but now I'm getting the following error. Configuration could not be saved! Could not save addon configuration. Reason give was: No such file or directory

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Had the same issue. Manually replacing Guild Wars 2\addons\gw2radial\gw2addon_gw2radial.dll with Guild Wars 2\addons\gw2addon_gw2radial.dll worked for me. Thanks!
