v1.4.1 - just a heads up that this is still an issue. On first run, if not using default GW2 directory, selecting the directory will not actually work/save until restarting. Draeggiar has a fork with a fix for this in one of his pre-releases: https://github.com/Draeggiar/GW2-Addon-Manager/releases

Edit: Unconfirmed, but #119 is likely the same issue
